Digital Scanning from the Collier Library


Collier Library is available to make digital scans of personal resources from faculty. These may include book chapters, articles, or documents. 

Requesting a Digital Scan:

  1. Fill out a Digital Scanning Request form.
  2. Bring your source material to the Help Desk in Collier Library.
  3. We will digitize your material and deliver the PDF to you via document delivery.
  4. The source material will then be available for pickup.

Copyright Guidelines for Digital Scanning


The purpose of the Digital Scanning service is to provide Collier library users with a copy of the requested material for personal use or for educational activities covered by Fair Use.

In providing this service, Collier Library must also follow relevant copyright laws for the application of Fair Use for educational purposes. Collier Library reserves the right to deny a request if staff consider the request not covered by Fair Use.
