Traditional license agreements allowed for access to subscribed/licensed content. Think of these as "read" agreements; they gave us the ability to read the subscribed content. As demand for open access publications increased, many publishers began offering "Read & Publish" agreements that include access to subscribed content plus a waiver and/or reduction of article processing charges (APC) for subscriber-affiliated researchers. These types of agreements are sometimes also referred to as "transformative agreements." The purpose of this guide is to provide information on Collier Library's Read & Publish agreements.
(FYI - More information about open access can be found on the Open Access, Open Education, and Copyright LibGuide.)
