Detached Text Block
When the book block begins to detach from the binding, carefully remove it completely.
Use double-stitched binder tape to reattach it by gluing one side to the book block and allowing it to dry.
Once dry, glue the opposite side to the cover and let it set fully before handling.
Stand the book on it's spine to allow to dry and help prevent the glue from spreading to where it is not wanted. We generally use a couple of book ends to hold the book up and allow it to dry overnight before proceeding to the next repair or returning the book back to the shelf for circulation.
