Request Reminders
- Submitting a materials request does not place an order for the item. Instead, your request is put in the queue to be reviewed and possibly ordered by acquisitions department staff.
- Use the form at the left to request the one-time purchase (books, ebooks, DVDs, etc.) of course materials for use by students.
- If you would like the library to add a new subscription (journal, database, etc.) for use in a course, please email your departmental liaison or collectiondevelopment@una.edu.
- If you would like the library to investigate streaming access for a feature film or documentary, please email your departmental liaison or collectiondevelopment@una.edu.
- When feasible, electronic books will be bought for those requests for which "yes" was selected on the "electronic version preferred" question. However, there may be titles which are available in electronic format that we cannot buy because of market restrictions, cost, or lack of availability through existing vendors. In these cases, if the course is a traditional in-person class or a hybrid class, the library will try to purchase a print copy.
