Faculty Guide to Utilizing Library Databases: Science Direct

To create a link to an article in Science Direct:

1. Select an article from the result list by clicking on the title of the article.
2. Find the DOI for the article. It will look something like this https://doi.org/10.1016/j.fsigen.2013.12.001
3. Paste the DOI into the desired location. To ensure that the link will work from off-campus, insert the following prefix: https://ezproxy.una.edu/login?url= 
4. A final link will look similar to this:  https://ezproxy.una.edu/login?url=https://doi.org/10.1016/j.fsigen.2013.12.00
