Faculty Guide to Utilizing Library Databases: ACLS

Linking to Books

  1. Locate the book in the ACLS database. Click on the title to open the book.
  2. Look for the "Citable link"  under the "Rad Book" button. Copy the URL. An example URL is https://hdl.handle.net/2027/heb.33710 
  3. Paste the url into the desired location. To ensure that the link will work from off-campus, insert the following prefix: https://ezproxy.una.edu/login?url= 
    The url from #2 would become https://ezproxy.una.edu/login?url=https://hdl.handle.net/2027/heb.33710
